Little Bethel Pentecostal Holiness: One of the Church of Charleston's most influential Christian leaders ministers here.  Many have come under his wings. After many years of serving the community Bishop Aaron Elliott still stands for Christ. Sister Jessica Elliott, Naomi, Ramona, Miriam and Jerome Turner have become dear to our hearts. The church runs a small grocery-restaurant with the best soul food in town.

Cooper River Baptist: The prayer group "Prayer Fellowship" we associate with has met here at CRBC for over ten years, praying for the congregations across the area and praying for revival. Though there is no legal affiliation, we have some dear siblings at CRBC. Steve Jarrell, one of the faithful prayer partners with our cell group, is a also member of Cooper River Baptist. Doug and Diane Ray, who led the music department here for so many years, are good friends. They have since moved to 1st Baptist Moncks Corner where Ray is on staff. Pastor Gary Ward leads CRBC, a congregation with a heart for worship and evangelism. It should be mentioned that Pastor Gary, though his congregation had already scheduled an in-house event on May 3rd, provided us with major assistance in helping to mail some 700 plus churches the news about the Park Circle Prayer Rally. Wow.

Inner City Ministries: On a November evening of 2006, our family went out to eat. We actually prayed that the Lord would give us a good place to go so we could enjoy a good time together. He answered. While waiting for a train to pass on Braddock Avenue, the man in truck in front of us got out and approached us with a flier for a church fish fry. He needed directions. We agreed to lead him there only to realize it was the Lord leading us through him. That is how we first met Pastor Edwin "The Chef" Wright and his wonderful church family at Inner City Ministry. While recently being a part of their prayer meeting and service, the presence of God was unbelievably powerful and the tears for the lost deeply moving. I have a special affection in my heart for Edwin. He's real. He clearly loves the Lord. His good friend and assistant, Lason, is an encourager! The fact that Edwin also has been given a platform to speak into the hearts of thousands via radio is neat too. He has been on the air at both WJNI and Heaven 1390 in the course of his 25 year radio career. I'm grateful the Lord has brought the Chef into my life and heart. They meet over by the Thrift Store on Rivers near 526.

First Baptist North Charleston: Dad came to Christ here. It's where he met Mom who came to Christ here at 7 years old. My grandfather was a deacon here for over 25 years and served both Pastors, Reverends Paul Pridgen Sr. and Jr. during their tenures.  Have had the privilege of speaking with current Pastor Daniel Smith, a real thinker and with a heart for the lost. He, like many pastors, longs to see a move of the Holy Spirit in this community. He has been a pastor since January of 1962!

Chuck Carroll, Pastor of New Life Assembly of God, opened the door to Pastor Sam Lesky and Seacoast to reach out to residents of our area. Seacoast has since relocated to North Rhett, but New Life continues to hold services at 10:00 a.m. and Iglesia Hispana Vida Nueva (for the growing Hispanic community in the area) holds services at 3 p.m. What a testimony in how they share and work together. The Lord must be pleased. Chuck has a heart for unity in this area! When he brought up the book "That None should Perish" by Ed Silvoso, my heart was greatly encouraged. Anyone who has read that book understands what it is going to REALLY take to have unity. The Lord has planted Chuck in our area for such a time as this!

Abundant Life Tabernacle A.M.E. Zion Church: Pastor John Long, Sr. has been in ministry for 30 years. He was doing very well and succeeding greatly when the Lord spoke to his heart about coming to Remount Road area about two years ago. He left a very comfortable situation to sow the Word in the hearts in our area. In addition to a great sense of humor, he's keenly aware that the Holy Spirit is brooding over the souls in the Park Circle area. His congregation meets right next door to the BiLo and they also share quarters with a Hispanic congregation that worships with them. He has shared a few things with us already that have proven to be from the Lord! It's good to have Pastor Long here laboring among us!

Parkcircleprayer.com is a parachurch and laypeople's effort, not a congregation, with the sole purpose of glorifying the Lord by supporting the divine institutions of the family and local congregation through the facilitation of community-wide prayer events which are led by Christian leaders who are concerned for the souls in the Park Circle - Remount Road and Rivers Avenue Area and who desire to please the Lord by seeking Him together.

It is the ministry" *** "It's one thing to tell somebody what we believe about Jesus, it's quite another to be able to introduce someone to our Best Friend." *** "We are more like Martha than Mary; More like Christian activists, than people of prayer." *** "We need unity in humility found at the foot of the Cross, not prideful uniformity that says: 'Look at us doing God's work'" "There has got to be a practical, excecutable strategy in place for us to dethrone the ministry of Hollywood in our homes and bring families and communities together via corporate prayer inspired by the Spirit. Technology is not the enemy; Our disobedient laziness is the enemy." ***
