Dr. Ed
McClain (Calvary A.M.E.) is my old Norman C. Toole Middle School Principal. He has been in radio for over 33 years and
has been a real encourager! Judge and Pastor Robert Leeper's (Calvary Church of God) and Dr. Alfred William's (Canaan Missionary
Baptist) spirits have been equally encouraging! Frontpage Jerusalem's Earl Cox connected me up with Judge Leeper and
the LMA. The Judge is a gracious man! Godly! Went and there was Principal McClain! What a pleasant surprise. After
the first visit I was hooked! The Lowcountry Ministers' Alliance meets weekly at Calvary AME Church on Wednesday's at
9 am. This is a community based meeting with a lot of Christian influence and there is also a mix of politics, race and diversity
too. Regardless of your race or political background or persuasion, these guys love the Lord and the benefit in knowing them
in Christ is great! I really draw a lot of strength from going and the fellowship is good, plus you can learn a lot about
community needs and what others are doing to make a difference.
